Gannett Media Technologies International To Exhibit at NEXPO '97

Cincinnati, OH - Gannett Media Technologies International (GMTI) announced that it will exhibit its product lines at The Newspaper Association of America's trade show, NEXPO '97, June 21-24 at The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana, booth #755.

Products to be exhibited include: Celebro Advertising Solutions®, a multimedia advertising system for real estate and automotive, and Digital Collections® multimedia management solutions.

Celebro Advertising Solutions is a suite of applications designed for newspapers and their major category advertisers such as Realtors and automotive dealers. Through Celebro, advertisers design, create and schedule their classified display and liner advertisements and electronically submit them for publication. In addition to traditional print media, such as newspapers and advertiser magazines, Celebro provides facilities for full Internet support and hosting, Audio Text/FaxBack service and kiosk presentations. Celebro is a fully scaleable client server application running under Microsoft's popular Windows NT operating system.

Celebro will be demonstrating real estate and automotive products as well as Internet and Interactive Voice Response products and services.

Digital Collections is a powerful multimedia information and workflow management system. Digital Collections handles all forms of digital content, including text, photos, graphics and full-page images within one database. A wide range of interfaces, data filters and gateways exist for information capture, storage and retrieval. Digital Collections also serves as a single-source information reservoir to support and manage electronic and Internet publishing initiatives. Digital Collections' client software runs on both Macintosh and IBM compatible PC's. The client software supports storage and retrieval in both local and wide area networks as well as via remote dial-up access. Internet and Intranet access is supported for HTML browsers such as Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Digital Collections will be demonstrating enterprise-wide data warehousing solutions as well as PhotoDesk, a standalone photo archiving solution that also performs as a wire-photo handling system, and ArchivesOnline, a commercial web publishing solution for news archives that allows newspapers to generate revenues their online archives asn associated advertisers. The Digital Collections system will also be demonstrated in Monotype Systems, Inc. exhibit booth #1947.
